1) WUSTL doesn't really YP.
2) It is in kind of in a weird place, where it is outside the T14 and to some extent trying to poach applicants from lower T14, a good number I imagine end up going to the T14 (or even Vandy, UT, or UCLA).
Those are my guesses at least.

Yeah I think Sublime hit it on the head. Many of the "top tier" type applicants use WASHU as a safety school. Also WASHU has a reputation as probably the most generous with scholarship money of any school in the T25 so it is often used for scholarship negotiation purposes. Anyways who cares? There are lots of things to consider when choosing a school, some more important than others. I don't see how yield percentage is even a consideration.
