Yeah, I think he probably started out hitting school like Cooley and Cardozo and then got intoxicated with the attention and crept up the rankings. Most of the critiques of the better schools seem to be written later.
Yep I noticed that too. Also, to the poster who first brought up the question: Notre Dame/UCLA/USC/UVA and the higher ranked schools he choose to address are all bigger "names" then WUSTL, so I imagine the main motive is click baiting.
i know its not necessarily good argumentation skills to attack the person writing the blog... but he went to a TTT crap school which tells you he most likely could not have attended a school as good as wustl or better, and mostly just uses the data that the schools themselves report but twisting it to look worse. He also doesn't go into any detail about how generous schools like wustl are with scholly... so... much like anything you read I hope you guys take that trash ass blog's "advice" with a grain of salt
Rant over.
Where did he go?
Edit:
Found the bio:
I am a graduate of Drake Law School. I am employed in a non-lawyer position. My goal is to educate people who are considering law school as a viable option. Do not go unless you are FULLY aware beforehand that you may end up with six figure student loan debt and no job prospects. Furthermore, you will find it very difficult to find work as a non-lawyer, as your J.D. will make you overqualified for most non-law positions.

Well, considering people talking about not getting travel stipends, I'm definitely more nervous about not getting one now :/

Ugh yea, waiting for scholly info has been more stressful than waiting to hear back about getting in or not.

I thought for sure I'd get one coming from CA. My flight alone is around $400, nevermind hotel and everything.

Whoa weird timing. Literally just got an email from WUSTL saying that my file has gone to the scholarship committee for consideration. Is this normal for every admit?

Nope, seems a lot of people got em, but not everyone. Congrats, you're probably in for some cash then.

I did not get this. My track went like this:
Interview on Feb. 5
Accepted Feb. 7
Stipend Feb. 12
Scholarship Feb. 14
No emails or anything but the ones relating to the issues above.

I got an email from financial aid today telling me I still needed to submit their additional application. So they're definitely working on the scholarship info. I submitted it asap so hopefully it won't affect how long mine takes

What additional application materials needed to be filed for financial aid?

^^^ Hope you're right about that. Got the email that said they needed more information in the middle of the afternoon. Now I just got an email that said my file was being sent to the scholarship committee.

That's an increase. A bold prediction.
I have no way of actually knowing this early, but I would guess a 166 median will be held this cycle after final $$$ offers go out.

It'll be interesting to see. I'm more interested to see if they keep the class size as small, because I think that's one of WUSTL's biggest assets now.

This is regarding loans and need-based aid. You probably sent in your FAFSA. I got the same email and I've had scholly info for months.

Yea, we're talking about an email about being considered for schollies, not need-based aid.

Two convos going on simultaneously, I believe. The email guyfox received about the additional finaid application applies to loans and need-based aid after you submit your FAFSA to Wash U.
You guys are talking about a separate email about your app being sent to the scholarship committee.
The confusion arose because the financial aid department isn't clear in the email guyfox received, but I tried to clear that up by explaining how I got the same email after submitting my FAFSA. Naaahmean?

Yeah that makes sense. I also got the scholarship consideration email/login details about an hour ago. I guess WashU was just busy getting stuff done today.

How can they spend so much time trying to figure out if I'd actually move to stl but not help me get there to figure that out??
This is surprising. Did you get a scholarship offer?
Yup. Very confused.

Meh. It's fine. Honestly the stipend wouldn't have covered that much anyway.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
