I was waitlisted about a week ago. Does anyone know when I might hear from them again? Very little chance of any scholarship money from the waitlist, right?

I have no idea when waitlisters hear back, but scholarship money has been wonky and out of sync with tradition this year. Last year they "found" a bunch of money late in the cycle, though, so anything is possible.

<25th here as well and I wasn't asked about my GPA at all.

My GPA is is in the 2.xx area with addendum as well. Accepted and excited for ASW.

On that note, the TLS-ridden March ASW is making me rethink my travel plans. Anyone getting a hotel together or every man/woman for themselves? I'm renting a car if anyone needs a ride.

I'm looking to get there Thursday and sightsee, then hit up the ASW the next day.

Thursday night pre-ASD TLS shenanigans? Friday night post-ASD TLS shenanigans?

Flight ticket purchase will be contingent on this, and this alone.

I'm always down for shenanigans, whether it be the pre- or post- variety. We need Fiero or one of the current students to show us where to drink, though. I do all of my drinking in the bed of my truck parked on a back road with a jug of moonshine. Also at Hollywood in Washington Park...

Wasn't sure about going, but now that shenanigans are involved....

How much do they reimburse for travel? My flight alone would cost $250...

Then it's settled. I'll leave the planning to all of you, as I have an important pig-wrastling engagement this afternoon.

I'd be down for Friday. I'm about to look into a total cost for me, but wouldn't fly out until Thursday evening after 5PM.

I live in the St. Louis area (although out in the burbs right now) and would be happy to help carpool for March ASD.

Ahh! I missed some discussion of my favorite topic - shenanigans :D

We can either crash the current students' Bar Review Thursday night or pick a different place. Friday we should go to blueberry hill or something close to campus that has stuff to do and cheap late night food. I'm down for whatever both Thursday and Friday night though really

coming to the bar review will probably be a great way to meet and talk to current students, definitely give it some consideration

That's what I was thinking.

FYI all, if you haven't seen them already, you should browse the student blog posts on the school website. It's a tad dated but has some very credited info. If you need ideas for visiting, start with "72 hours in STL" . It's authored by a prominent WUSTL TLSer. Dude knows what he's talking about. That's where I got the Bar Review Thursday >>> Blueberry Hill Friday idea.

How vital would a car be for ASW?
