go to GULC --> work for federal gov't --> gov't shuts down.
go to GULC --> you go to a law center. not a school, a center.
go to GULC --> watch them get spanked by Syracuse basketball every year --> sad

But in all seriousness, congrats! My feelings about GULC or any non-HYSCCN school basically comes down to the debt issue

Fair. Also lol center.

Was accepted via email on Monday. Received a separate email on Tuesday about my application going to the scholarship committee. No indication when those decisions will be released. I submitted mid-September, went complete early October and had a phone interview last week With Mary Ann Clifford. Last complete date is at 11/4 (date my acceptance email was sent).

Fee waiver today, so I'm thinking about it. But I don't think Stl is very appealing to me

Apps are free for everyone as long as you apply via their website :) if you have a strong LSAT, it may be worth even if only for scholarship negotiation purposes (assuming they continue to be very generous this cycle)

I am well above their median, so you're right I should apply.

As someone who went there for undergrad coming from the East Coast, I definitely thought St. Louis was going to be pretty awful. But there is a lot to the city that is great. It's got a certain character that you really need to experience in order to understand. I don't know if you've visited, but if you get a chance you should have someone show you around some of the "hidden gems" of the area (the stuff not publicized). Plus a big benefit I think is the dirt cheap cost of living for a city (or in general really...).

Nope. They sent me a email saying that they will email me soon with an offer though.

No offer after interview. Unfortunate, they are my top choice.

Don't sweat it, lots of applicants from my cycle weren't even invited to interview and they're sitting in class with me. The kids that are being admitted this early via phone interviews are the auto-admits, but that doesn't mean you won't get in. Did you tell them--either directly or indirectly--that WUSTL was your first choice?

Yeah definitely don't freak out yet, it was 2 weeks between my interview and my acceptance this cycle. Idk what the norm was last year, but my acceptance came 2 hours before my interview was scheduled.

ETA: my interviewer definitely didn't imply that I was in, she just said they were impressed by me. She never crossed that sorority dirty-rushing line I know so well.

In via email with the dean's signature today. Interviewed on 10/29. But it's not the official acceptance letter yet, without any instructions for next steps. Anyone has any idea?? For those who also got in via email, what does your email look like?? Thanks so much! :D

I am new to TLS. Recently, I received the email invite for interviews. Does anyone have any new information on how important they are this cycle? Last year they seemed like they were a serious indicator of admissions success.

Just submitted. Wasn't considering WUSTL before, but considering the $$$ they throw around, maybe it's a viable option.

Did anyone who was already accepted receive something in the mail? I was accepted a week ago via email, but haven't seen an acceptance packet on my doorstep yet.

Had my interview today and was accepted at the beginning of the phone call!!! I was prepared for a full on interview so it was a really great surprise to be accepted :D

Here's some information to help out that I got from Dean Clifford (who is extremely nice and helpful btw): They are aiming to get scholarship decisions out by Thanksgiving. There won't be an acceptance packet but there will be acceptance e-mails coming out at the end of the week or early next week. Good luck to everyone!
