Just filled out a bracket and was disappointed that WUSTL was not an option. Maybe sometime later this century.

Actually, that's exactly what happens when you don't give athletic scholarships, because the NCAA divisions are based on athletic scholarship levels. By definition, a D3 school offers no scholarships for athletes.sublime wrote:scottidsntknow wrote:Just filled out a bracket and was disappointed that WUSTL was not an option. They made a big deal about getting to the D3 football playoffs or something last semester.
I guess that's what happens when you don't give athletic scholarships.

At least the law school isn't D3...sublime wrote:Ricky-Bobby wrote:Actually, that's exactly what happens when you don't give athletic scholarships, because the NCAA divisions are based on athletic scholarship levels. I can't help but read this sarcastically, and that makes it so much better.sublime wrote:Ricky-Bobby wrote:Actually, that's exactly what happens when you don't give athletic scholarships, because the NCAA divisions are based on athletic scholarship levels. Is this the only reason you were so nice to me at ASW?sublime wrote:
Haha. I wasn't sure which way to go with it, so I left it ambiguous.
Besides, you are still a prospective student, so I have to be nice to you.

Well thanks for that. I have a very fragile ego and I cry easily.sublime wrote: Haha. I wasn't sure which way to go with it, so I left it ambiguous.

They should be calling you, at whatever number you put on your application.Thorcogan wrote:What number do I call for the interview? Just the admissions office? Thanks

Class of 2013 Employment Data: Biglaw (101+ attorneys) + Fed Clerkships
29 + 3.3 = 32.3%
Definite improvement over Class of 2012:
22.7 + 3.3 = 26%
Hopefully things continue to get better, as both of these classes had 300 students, and WUSTL has since shrunk the class sizes.

I shudder to think; behind the counter of which Starbucks can the other 67.7% of the class be found?scottidsntknow wrote:Class of 2013 Employment Data: Biglaw (101+ attorneys) + Fed Clerkships

Well you have to remember these are just the most "desireable" jobs. That doesn't mean the rest of the class is totally screwed.Lebrarian_Booker wrote:I shudder to think; behind the counter of which Starbucks can the other 67.7% of the class be found?scottidsntknow wrote:Class of 2013 Employment Data: Biglaw (101+ attorneys) + Fed Clerkships

Where did you dig this up, scotti? The ABA hasn't released 2013 data yet, have they? I thought that was 4/1.scottidsntknow wrote:Class of 2013 Employment Data: Biglaw (101+ attorneys) + Fed Clerkships
