That is the ASW that I am more than likely attending. If I get the traveling stipend, that would help out a lot. This was my top choice, so I'm just so elated that I got in!bostonbrewer wrote:[edit: scooped] Congrats!Dwaldrep wrote:I just got the email!!!! I'm in!!!! I'm so excited!!!! I can't wait to visit St. Louis!!
The TLS/WUSTL clan seems to be gravitating towards the March 7 ASW, if you can make it

Same. I want to go, but really won't be attending without $$$ so would like to know first. I'm planning on 1 ASW other than Texas, and want it to be to a school that I'm realistically considering which is WUSTL with $$$Fiero85 wrote:Me too for the fb group, still working on joining the March 7 ASW crew!Attax wrote:I'm in the group

Gotcha. Well I hope you get to choose between two ideal choices, when WUSTL ponies up the $$$$.Attax wrote:Same. I want to go, but really won't be attending without $$$ so would like to know first. And then go to March ASW to check things out!
I'm set on WUSTL. March ASW is doable but less convenient then April. But if the TLS folks are overwhelmingly March, I'll make it happen to contribute to the TLStakeover

Our codeword for recognizing other TLSers will be "contumelious." So just work that into the convo within 30 seconds of meeting someone and you'll know if you're talking to a TLS member or not.Fiero85 wrote:Gotcha. Re: WUSTL c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
We appreciate your interest in attending Washington University School of Law. This year, a record number of outstanding candidates have applied. The decision making process is particularly difficult, and there are many strong candidates to whom we do not anticipate being able to offer admission.
We understand that you are planning for your future and the fall of 2014. Therefore, we want to keep you updated in a timely manner regarding your application. We do not anticipate that we will be able to offer you admission to the class entering in the fall 2014. Although we are unable to offer you a seat, the Admissions Committee was highly impressed with your credentials and encourages you to consider applying as a transfer student.
Thank you again for your interest in the School of Law and for your patience with our process. We wish you much success with your future plans.

Yep yep, look into that, this is still plenty early for southwest tickets to be cheap. If you do get a big $$$ offer and wanna visit, let me know if money is still tight, I got room to host. Or try to find another TLS bro to split a hotel!Attax wrote:Yeah, lemme see what flights cost from Austin!

Sorry to hear that. Keep your head up. Kill it 1L wherever you decide to go, and you may have transfer options. Or retake in June/Sept and make it happen next cycle. Best of luck to you!boosane wrote:We appreciate your interest in attending Washington University School of Law. This year, a record number of outstanding candidates have applied. Good plan. Use the many high quality resources/guides on this site if you need somewhere to start new. Follow those and you'll be well on your way to dominating your next LSAT.boosane wrote:thank you sir. I'm planning on re-taking.Fiero85 wrote:Sorry to hear that. Keep your head up. You sly dog. I suppose I better brush up on my archaic potential code words by March!

I wish the stipend were more. W&L is giving $300 plus lodging and food. But you guys seem much better to chill with at ASD.

If we all pitch in on a room, we better be getting a Hangover-esque suite at some downtown high rise.
