so I have not looked at WUSTL all cycle. Can anyone fill me in on why there is so much talk about WUSTL and why this thread is so long?

I think this is less true at this stage in the cycle.JustHawkin wrote:The good ol' parable of the interview. Wise reference.Lebrarian_Booker wrote:

I actually have no idea. the WUSTL buzz existed before the full-ride-bailout. If I had to guess, i think it's because Romo, Strato, and the other WUSTL elders were all just very open and accessible about fielding 0L questions, including non-WUSTL specific topics such as debt and jobs.itachiuchiha wrote:so I have not looked at WUSTL all cycle. I remember the first time I applied, WUSTL threads were the best place for me to find information about the legal market and debt even thouogh WUSTL wasn't essentially my first choice.

I think it has nothing to do with any Anna-Donovan-related trolling that got me banned.

Congrats on the interview. I had mine on 3/13, but my status hasn't yet changed to "interview complete". Should I be worried/give them a call?Thorcogan wrote:Had my interview yesterday and today the status check changed to "interview completed". During the interview I was told I would hear back by the end of this week. From people with experience, is that a good sign? thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, their status checker doesn't seem particularly important. I literally didn't check mine after going complete and it all worked out for menjdevils2626 wrote:Congrats on the interview. I have no idea honestly. I would probably wait 2 weeks from the interview date, and if you still haven't heard anything then give them a call saying you are following up.njdevils2626 wrote:Congrats on the interview. Someone a while back had the same exact situation. They called and it was fixed on spot. Not sure if it really means anything for their internal process.njdevils2626 wrote:Congrats on the interview. So, it looks like my cycle is pretty much over (except for a few "would-require-a-miracle" type waitlists). As it stands right now, if WUSTL (which has given me $0) could come close to matching my offers from UMN and ND in terms of net price, I would commit yesterday.

Interview = yay
Oh sad mode we all got lowballed
Oh some got no offers
Oh the offers are in spam boxes
We discuss going to ASW (March v April)
Anna Donovan becomes TLS famous
More people get in
Some people get dinged/WL
People from CA don't get fee waivers, but those 1 hour away do
We go to March ASW, it is awesome
April crew is excited because we loved it so much
more people get in
we change our pictures to will ferrel
we explain this to you now because that's what we do (the whole reading the entire thread was a joke). We don't mind reiterating ourselves.
Oh, and retake.
