Hey guys, I know a bunch of you went out to WUSTL's first ASW. I'm thinking about attending this one coming up. I know you had fun hanging after ASW but was the actual school sponsored stuff interesting/informative?

Some of it was, some wasn't. The Dean's Speech was pretty TTT really, IMO. The tours and students and admissions faculty were super helpful though.couchpizza wrote:Hey guys, I know a bunch of you went out to WUSTL's first ASW. Cool, would you say that ASW gave you a feel for the school though, like how good of a fit it was for you?Attax wrote:Some of it was, some wasn't. The Dean's Speech was pretty TTT really, IMO. Definitely. There were obv points where they were trying to sell the school. I'll put it this way, I went with no intention of going to WUSTL, but after visiting the thought has def been lingering and growing stronger to attend (assuming I can negotiate a better offer).couchpizza wrote:Cool, would you say that ASW gave you a feel for the school though, like how good of a fit it was for you?Attax wrote:Some of it was, some wasn't. Yes I know that the fit is perfect for me just from the official events, and for others the fit wasn't right and that's just based on the actual ASD. I'm the opposite of Attax in a way. I went mostly certain that I wanted to be at wustl, and I left 100% sure.couchpizza wrote:Cool, would you say that ASW gave you a feel for the school though, like how good of a fit it was for you?Attax wrote:Some of it was, some wasn't. I'm glad you folks posted - saves me the trouble of looking into this. I'm sure it's a great deal, but obviously not meant for me.Lebrarian_Booker wrote:Did everyone just receive an application for the Eagleton Scholarship?
I can't believe it would actually be directed at me. It asks for diversity. I'm a white male from the midwest.

Had my interview yesterday and today the status check changed to "interview completed". During the interview I was told I would hear back by the end of this week. From people with experience, is that a good sign? thanks

As the old adage goes:
If an interview's demanded,
Then admission has been granted.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
