What's wrong w/ a rando convo every now and then?
You're in the comfort of coffee aroma and A/C, no need to be a grouch.
I see what you did there :p
And also rando convos are meh, but like creepy guy hitting on me is not as fun. He's gone now. Now it's a cute Chinese couple that clearly doesn't expect small white guy to understand mandarin lololol. The girl told her bf that she liked my shirt and I looked over to them and said thanks haha.
Since when do you know mandarin dawg? and how much?
Edit: QFNP

I used to be basically proficient, now not so much haha. And studied it in HS and college. I've deteriorated pretty quickly though. I just understand basic things more than anything now.

I also hit the classic foreign language plateu of not being able to go live in a native speaking environment
So I never learned to like "think" comfortably in spanish and there's only so much spanish you can learn from white Midwesterners lol

Or "sometime next week" depending on whom you ask. Does anyone have firsthand knowledge to share?

Yeah, after the 4th weekend seems possible now. idk why they set a reltively early date if they needed more time to so intensely calculate sections
. Give me 225 names with GPA/LSAT/UG School and I'd have that shit mixed up semi-random semi-strategically in 30 mins. Easy.

Lol. Maybe they were trying to motivate themselves? Hey guys, if we publicly say we will have them out by July 1st, it will make us work really hard to try and actually do it. Something like that maybe? We do it all the time where I work, we call them "stretch goals."
But yeah I'm with Fierowhatever, doesn't seem that hard to mix them up appropriately fairly quickly.

I'm betting they don't have the class quite filled out yet.

Shouldn't matter...add the stragglers to random sections.
Class is slightly overbooked now so why wait?

Yeah can't wait for that. People can get pulled off a waitlist somewhere and end up WD'ing basically right up until class starts, right?

Agreed. But they still may be moving people around a lot. Who knows. They might have just over-promised.
