Define cheap. If you're not from the midwest, you might have a different definition than we use.bigsleep1 wrote:Hey guys... most likely attending, but still hoping for a just a bit more to make it a full-ride
However, where is the best place to look for housing?
Priorities:
Cheap, Studio or 1 Bedroom, Close to campus (no car)
Thanks, any suggestions welcome.

Also, the metro is free for wustl students, so you don't necessarily need to live within walking distance.MarkinKansasCity wrote:Define cheap. Nice.. I am from Orange County, but I am looking at prices and I would like to stay under 550 per month for rent - maybe 600.scottidsntknow wrote:Also, the metro is free for wustl students, so you don't necessarily need to live within walking distance.MarkinKansasCity wrote:Define cheap. One bedroom or studio... That's awesome about the metro.
Are there any complex's known for having nice 1Bed/Studio apartments?
Not really bothered much about proximity to nightlife etc.

Howdy all!
Checking in for WUSTL class of 2017. I'm committed and couldn't be more excited. Beautiful campus, fun neighborhoods, and a pretty darn good legal education ahead!
P.S. Started visiting TLS this spring - I've really enjoyed reading, but I'm happy to be making the jump to contributor!

Has anyone else seen the new Above the Law rankings? Any idea why WUSTL fell? New Mexico and Georgia above WUSTL... ftw?

It's because they take cost into consideration as well.milkshakeyurd wrote:Has anyone else seen the new Above the Law rankings? Any idea why WUSTL fell? New Mexico and Georgia above WUSTL... ftw?

Cost is comparable to other schools. Yeah, cost gives schools like NM and UGA a boost, but it looks to me like the reason WUSTL fell is more employment. Not that WUSTL's is bad, but lots of schools in their range went up while WUSTL is still holding below peer schools.

Am I the only one reading this as "SMU was higher (in cost) than WUSTL. GUYS (excitement evident)"?bound wrote:Guys SMU was higher than WUSTL. GUYS

ETA: sublime adding a third possible meaning, ATL rankings. This is confusing as can be right now.

I tried, but ATL's methodology kept asking, "what did you do with my parents?"Chinese_Mafia wrote:Read close to the methodology of ATL.milkshakeyurd wrote:Has anyone else seen the new Above the Law rankings? Any idea why WUSTL fell? New Mexico and Georgia above WUSTL... ftw?

I have no idea what I'm doing.
I may just become a starving artist. Or a dolphin trainer.
