Just got an email from admissions, they want me to interview. What does this mean? Do they ask of everyone or only the questionable cases?

I think it is a YP measure. If you interview, you seem to get admitted (I've not heard of anyone interviewing and then getting rejected).

I did phone, was easiest and most reliable for me since I'm in Texas which is nowhere near campus!

I did phone, was easiest and most reliable for me since I'm in Texas which is nowhere near campus!

A user posted in December in this thread that she interviewed and was waitlisted, so it sounds like most interviewees have been admitted but it's not a guarantee.

Knowing this info, when did you get accepted?

Sorry to bug with questions, just trying to get a feel for when I'll know. I have a place here in Austin I really want and don't want to lose it, but don't want to get it in case I decide to go elsewhere.

Also, to address a few who asked. I got my interview request about 10 days after going "Application Materials Received." I did not have another status update until my decision.

Ok so within 1 hour of this conversation my application status changed to "Complete." Coincidence? I'm no longer anxious, but now I'm paranoid.
