Yep. He was really helpful in answering my question about the clinics and around campus. His interview had no real curve balls. Like: Have you been to St. Louis? Why did you choose your UG school? Tell me about yourself/why law. Good luck!

Egregious Wyoming trolling.

Didn't interview with him, but he seemed like a good dude at ASD. He validated my parking like a bro.

Just found out I didn't receive any merit aid. Any chance they change their mind? <25GPA/17xLSAT

Weird. I'm the same with stats and got 60K. I think that connections to STL played a big role in scholarships though. Some people with better numbers got less money, some more. It's been random

Haha I don't know where I'm going yet. WUSTL would have to give me more than 60 for me to seriously consider.

I guess, since interviews are going on, admissions at WUSTL is still chugging along? Beastin' spring break.

Public Service Announcement: Gleeful schadenfreude aside, don't pick your school (WUSTL or otherwise) based on the rankings. It's about job placement, the alumni network in your desired market, and cost. Obviously going to a higher ranked school is a nice perk, but there will always be a more prestigious school and rankings fluctuate regularly. Having applied to WUSTL twice and being a student here I've seen us be 18, 23, 19, and now 18 again.

Not that I think any of you are picking schools based on rank alone, you all seem smarter than that. But just saying, expect rankings to fluctuate no matter where you end up.

I think when I applied on LSAC it said that the deadline was in like August or something.

Now that you mention it I do remember that. I guess they keep it open for June LSATs.

I mean it certainly makes sense, and although it probably sucks for admissions, it must yield results.

Will is fantastic. Interviewed with him last week. Very cordial, humorous, and easy to talk to. 10/10 would recommend.

Did he offer you admission at the end of the call? I'm just trying to figure out how it works, since some people seem to get admitted halfway through the call or at the end and others have to wait

I got admitted via email 25 hours after the interview, but the way he talked made me feel as if the interview was more of a formality (I.e., "when you come to Washington U..." As opposed to "if".)

ALSO:

I've been rereading this thread because I have no life, and apparently there are two Facebook groups? Im in the "WUSTL 2017: Accepted" group, but would like to be in both!

Also, I recall reading something about someone asking about WUSTL re: Ny BigLaw placement in their interview, but can't find the post. I'll go back to rereading the thread, but if someone could answer either Q, that'd be fantastic.

What question do you have about NYC biglaw? I was probably who you were referencing.
