Would anyone have any idea if they still have a good amount of acceptance offers left, or is it headed towards the waitlist/rejection part of the cycle? I know in last year's cycle there was a spike of WL's in very early February.
Also, congrats to anyone that has gotten an admittance so far!
First, this is all pure speculation. I have no idea what I'm talking about.
That said, it seems like in general we're heading toward WL/rejection territory. It's just that time of the year, now that schools have a good idea of what the class profile as a whole is going to look like.
I would not go so far as to say that that doesn't mean that there aren't still a good number of offers left. Michigan made 1162 offers of admission last year, and there are (as I count) 78 acceptances reported on the spreadsheet, and I think I've seen general TLS opinion to think that we're somewhere around 10% of all applicants, which would imply there are plenty of acceptaces "left."
But, uh, don't take this as reliable information or anything.
edited for spelling.
