I definitely thought they were open when I was there at 1:30-2, but I made no attempt to go in (just walked by) so maybe I'm mistaken? Some departments (like the one I work for) let employees leave two hours before their scheduled quitting time because of the holiday, so if the admissions office did the same, it might make sense that they were closed at 3? Again, I could be wrong - I just passed by on my way to see my friend, but that's what I thought I saw.

+1

Plan B: I'll distract them while you find his file and put it in the admit pile. That's also cool, right?
Mission Impossible: Get Scotty Into Michigan.
Remember that episode of parks and rec where andy steals leslies birth certificate? Its going to be like that. A computer may get kicked off the counter and i may break my back, but we'll get the file in the pile.

Just don't steal a briefcase while you're in there.

Did you see that Anne and Chris are moving to Ann Arbor? As far as I'm concerned, your love of P&R just cements your future acceptance with Umich.

So if Michigan beats Ohio State, Michigan Law should just hand out acceptances like Oprah.

It's been about two weeks and I still haven't received a Status Checker. Should I e-mail on Tuesday if I don't hear on Monday?

Complete complete complete *le sigh*
Is there a possibility of decisions tomorrow? I'm assuming if the office closed for the holiday weekend then we won't see a decision til Tuesday. But if the office is only closed for the holiday itself, then Friday = work and Sat = decisions...

I assume that the university, like most, is closed both days. I suppose the admissions office could still be open on an official university holiday, but that seems unlikely.

Working retail on black friday makes me want to work that much harder at law school.

Sometimes I think about staying another year and trying to continue my climb up the management ladder.

Then days like today happen.

After finally getting the chance to look through the 100+ book Michigan sent to my permanent address, I am pretty darn impressed.

Haven't been on this thread yet, so sorry if this is repetitive.

Any RD applicants accepted yet?

Status is complete, last updated 12/1, just hoping this isn't a bad sign.

Several RD acceptances have gone out, and you update every day. Good luck!

Scotth724, I think we need to start a support group if we don't have decisions by the end of next week.

You mean another support group? I'm pretty sure this thread already qualifies as one.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
