UVA does interview for YP, but most interviews are conducted just to obtain additional solidifying information that allows the admissions committee to feel strongly about issuing the acceptance. In any case, UVA notifies all admitted students via phone call, and they will usually ask a few questions before letting you know you've been admitted, so I guess you could really say all admitted students had at least a small interview.
What kind of questions?
If you're in YP territory, it is mostly Why UVA questions to ensure that you want to go there (does not hold true for ED apps). If you're a borderline it may be to feel gaps that the admissions committee is lacking in your app. I believe tpfennin's questions revolved around past experiences and Why UVA for the most part. According to him/her the rest was mostly information that was given by the interviewer (not sure which he interviewed CF, JD, or AR, but I think AR is traveling now, so probably not her) regarding campus culture, honor system, etc. S/He was also given an opportunity to ask some questions at the end. (total 25-30 minutes). This is probably a good example for a typical interview and what to expect, so if you're ready for questions about yourself and past experiences, and you have some questions prepared to ask, then you should be fine. Others will be shorter - I think for most candidates that are an easy call it probably only lasts for around 15 minutes from what previous posters are reporting. HTH
