WL - 175 3.8x
Complete early Feb.
I even sent them a LOCI a week and a half ago
Fairly disappointed since I would much prefer UVA to almost all other schools

Just a heads up to anyone who has heard nothing and it's been a reasonable amount of time...you might want to email the law admit email address. I did this, and was contacted by the dean with a waitlist status. She said the app had been miscoded. This is similar to what another poster stated upthread. Apparently these decisions were from a few weeks ago, and the review of waitlist should be coming up soon.

Good for you! I'm hoping to have the same sort of outcome. Glad you made it through. Is UVA a top choice for you? Scholarships?

Just waitlisted. 169, 3.7x. Didn't put much effort into the app (no why UVA etc) because from what I saw on mylsn, it didn't seem necessary. Do people who get in off the waitlist get money?

Does UVA keep it's ranking because of its insane yield protection? I've never seen so many 99% LSATers getting waitlisted.

That LSN info is not the best representation for UVA because it's harder to get accepted if you're out-of-state. Also, it doesn't factor in why UVAs, which can also have a major impact due to YP and the fact that any adcomm would naturally want an applicant that took the time to write an additional, well-written essay about why they want to attend.
