I don't know why UVA is so slow. Seriously, it's not like they have a good yield rate so they have to admit a lot of people. I don't know why they insist on drawing out the process.politics89 wrote:Complete 12/18. Radio Silence.Theopliske8711 wrote:Mine said complete and that shouldn't have been too long ago. Re: UVA c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Hi All,
I am currently waiting to hear back from Cordel Faulk on an interview time. What is the interview like with him? My GPA is above 75% but my LSAT is a smidge below their median. Do they give interviews to everyone or only people they are looking to admit? I'm excited and nervous and all that jazz... :O
THANKS!

Re: UVA c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I was so worried, but I just got my acceptance! I got a great email opening with apologies about lateness and ending with a pile of professors and alums from my undergrad to get in touch with. So pumped!RCO2012 wrote:Wait until mid-week next week, then send a thank you email to JD and say something along the lines of "I hope to hear from you soon," or "I look forward to hearing from you," etc.asundialwatch wrote:So, I interviewed 18 days ago. I thought it went really well. Jason Dugas and I talked about Charlottesville and a bunch about the public interest program. He said I should hear back by the end of that week. I'm assuming this means a likely ding or w/l, but I'm wondering if I should contact him/admissions to ask. Any thoughts?

Waiting for a response from Cordel about my proposed interview time. Any links to threads on the content of UVA's interviews or anecdotes from current applicants?

Re: UVA c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
This thread is filled with that information. To summarize though: No set questions, maybe one or two standard job interview questions, be ready to discuss Why UVA, but in general you should expect a relaxed and relatively informal conversation rather than a formal interview.Tariffs wrote:Waiting for a response from Cordel about my proposed interview time. Cordel is great, super nice, and super easy to have a conversation with. I did not interview with him, but I had a number of conversations with him throughout the process.UCLAHopeful2014 wrote:Hi All,

THANKS!
And they would not waste their time interviewing people they were not seriously considering, so be proud and rock that interview!

Second this, except with Jason Dugas! Can someone provide links to the questions that Dugas may ask in the interview? Pretty please?

PMed you the same list. I had Jason Dugas. Based on what I've read ITT and my own interview, both ask similar questions and are friendly and easy to talk to.NicCageOnline wrote:jdapplicant wrote:Tariffs wrote:Waiting for a response from Cordel about my proposed interview time.
