Just got an email to "discuss my application". The people who have been interviewed, did they ask for an interview or ask to discuss? I know its a small thing, but I am paranoid ha.

I got that exact email, and the "discussion" was in fact an interview.

Yes, it will be a short interview. Review your complete application including your resume and your personal statement. Make sure you know what is in your application and can discuss small details about it, and you will be fine. And YAYYY it looks like people were right about this being a big week for decisions. Sorry, I didn't quite answer your question in the above post. Yes, 99% of people who have been accepted have been interviewed. There are only a few outliers, or exceptions, to this that I have seen so far this cycle. Interview is, generally, a good sign. Best of luck to you!

That was the wording in my email. I swear I thought they meant something was wrong with my app though and I looked over it at least five times freaking out, but then it just ended up being a standard interview

Yes, it is pretty standard. Some will get specific requests for an interview and some will get requests asking for a moment of the applicant's time to discuss their application. I'm also thinking it is possible that we may start seeing interviews from another admissions officer than who we have seen so far this cycle (so specific wording in the email may change).

Yes, but it does look promising for this week, with the limited information that we have. Hold tight. If nothing this week or beginning of next, then you'll probably be looking at a decent wait unfortunately. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that . Good luck waiters!!!

Yep. Complete 11/5, no interview or anything. My lack of acceptances anywhere so far is turning me into a crazy person
