Hey, if anyone from NYC is moving down to Charlottesville I'd be happy to apartment swap for the summer + pay the difference! My place is also furnished. Also, anyone who has q's about the school can ask me.

Complete early Feb.
I even sent them a LOCI a week and a half ago
Fairly disappointed since I would much prefer UVA to almost all other schools
I wonder if this is "YPing" ...

If anyone on here would like an apartment for June and/or July, feel free to message me. You'd have the whole two bedroom to yourself, and you can use all my stuff. Willing to work out a price. Thanks!

visited over the weekend (accepted w/ nice merit scholarship) and had such a good experience. i had never been to campus before and initially had my heart set on going to either columbia or nyu, so the prospect of charlottesville was initially disconcerting for me. but after having visited for a few days, i could not be more excited about the fact that i'm probably headed there in the fall. i shouldn't have been such a snob re: my manhattan only attitude, UVA is an incredible place and I am inordinately excited to get an affordable education there.

Waitlisted today. Above both 75ths, complete early January, wrote a fairly detailed Why UVA. Will be withdrawing, though UVA could've been a viable option with $$$.

I will say that that I'm somewhat more sympathetic to UVA's YP WLing than I am toward other schools, though, since they do have that high in-state % requirement.

WL this morning. LSAT one below median, GPA > 75, Why UVA. Out of state and late application, not particularly surprising. Dat fee waiver.

Glad I could help the selectivity. Just doin' my part...

Hey, if anyone is looking for housing, there is a great opportunity near UVA Law available. An apartment available in my complex, Arlington Court, literally right next to the law school.

It is a two bedroom for $1100 a month total. It is an individual owner who is responsive. Much better deal than Ivy Gardens and closer to the law school.

Message me if you are interested.

I am also a 2L at UVa Law if anyone else has questions about the school I could answer.

I'm guessing that this Wait List Update email went to everyone else on WL as well? Basically said they won't be going into the wait list very much if at all over the next two weeks. Also said in no uncertain terms not to submit any more LORs.
