Great! Congrats again. It does seem like UVA is really serious about their holistic approach this cycle. There are a few people in here with great experiences, but stats that don't necessarily 'fit.' So, for those of you wondering if you have a chance, this definitely seems like a good cycle to apply. Hope to see you in Charlottesville next year marsters!

Interview details: Lasted about 10 minutes and questions focused on "Why UVA", my work experience, and one of my hobbies. It was pretty relaxed and didn't feel like an interview. PM if you are interested in specific questions that were asked.

It was from a specific committee member although it wasn't individualized. I also interviewed with the same person who emailed me and they were also the one to call me with the acceptance. Also, I only received a phone call for the acceptance...no email.

I just wanted to give a heads up to in state applicants - it seems that some of the applications for In-State Education Privileges were not received if sent by email. So, you may want to contact the Office of Virginia Status to confirm that they have received your request if you emailed it.

For those of you who ED and interviewed, how long after your application was completed did you get invited to interview? I know it has to be within 15 days, but I'm just curious how fast the turn-around is for hearing whether or not you'll be interviewing (aka. a "contender").
