You've got to read my posts in proper context. Nowhere in those posts did I ever say "UCI is never worth attending."

Just looked at the LST stats for Hastings and man, it's the true definition of a TTT.
The first one was out of jest and it's more of a dis towards UC Hastings, which I feel like is warranted. Increased their class size while letting their median LSAT drop by 3. That's TTTT.

Perfect example of why US News rankings are bs.

Damn. I really burned UCI there. (sarcasm).
The third link. This is all that is literally in the third link:

Lol, HasTTTTings.
Are you saying it's better than UCH, which has been around way longer? If not, then it's TTTT. Because UCH is pretty TTTT.
46% full time attorney jobs. 7% of that is school funded. That's 39%. That's pretty TTTT man.
I'm pretty sure it's well known that I don't like UC HasTTTTings. I am considering UC Davis though.
Context. Context. Context.
As far as my posts are concerned, while I've forgotten that I wrote some of that stuff, I stand by them. Opening ANY law school (I'm not singling out UCI) in this economy does not help. The market is saturated. Mostly everyone graduating from UCI will STILL be representing the same middle to upper class people. Look on LST. Look at that big law %. Don't tell me that those people from big firms are defending the little guys. There's nothing wrong with prestige and wanting money. However, in that context that my post was made, it was in response to some guy posting about a "lawyer shortage" in CA and about how lower income people do not have representation. I could be wrong, but do YOU think creating another law school in Orange Country (even a potential T-25 school) solves that problem? I checked out LST and UCI has 28.6% clerkship and 23.2% biglaw. How does that solve the problem the original poster was talking about?
I don't know how this is a direct dis of UCI:
pluto111 wrote:Orange county does not have a good law school. And there's still a lawyer shortage in CA (and the rest of the country for that matter) since half of those appearing in California courts do not have the benefit of attorney representation. Those jobs just don't pay as much or garner the envy of TLS posters, but they certainly exist at the right price. I agree, though, that UCI, like almost every school in California, is only worth considering at this point if you get a substantial scholarship.

What you say is true.
There is a lawyer shortage and I'm saying that UCI is WORTH considering if you get a substantial scholarship. I'm certainly not saying the same about Indiana TTTTech. I would not go there if they gave me a full ride and paid me 25k/yr on top of that.
I think Dr. Dre is funny just because he hates a school that much. It's over the top, but it's funny. I post his quotes around a few times because, well, they're funny. However, I don't believe there has ever even been a post that I made directly that said, "Never go to UCI. It's TTT."
