YP waitlist for me as well, had been expecting it. To withdraw, should I just respond to the email or what?

Thanks!

There is an option for it on the "Waitlist Response Form." I imagine you could also just email the dean of admissions or admin office

Was accepted yesterday! Applied on 1/28. My first acceptance so far, so I'm excited!

Admitted 12/19 but really hoping to make it into the PIPS program. I was told the committee would be meeting the first week of March (the last day for JD apps is 3/1) and then notifying recipients the second to third weeks of March. All recipients will be notified by 4/1.

Its worth noting that WCL's seat deposits are due 4/1 for anyone receiving a scholarship. Soo... this is all feeling a little down to the wire.

Has anyone gone to their Alumni/Admitted Students dinners that they host in different cities? Would love to know more before I go to one!

Has anyone heard anything back yet about PIPS?

Do they accept late apps? I just started looking into it and I like the school a lot, or should I not even bother?

The priority deadline was March 1st. You can submit until March 31st.

I would only do it if your stats are above their medians. At this point people submitted several months ago and are just hearing back so it may take a while to hear back.

Still nothing, and no decision. Just had a 7pt bump for my February LSAT, hoping I'll get a decision this week.

Its my understanding that PIPS isn't a score-based merit scholarship, though?

I have no idea, but I assume it's a factor. I just meant I want an admissions decision. I've been seeing plenty of people with similar numbers to mine admitted months ago. I'm hoping I'll get a decision soon now that my new score was released.

accepted into PT a few days ago, but no scholarship info in mail.
Does that mean none was given?
LSAC sheet shows they give out very few scholarships, is that true?

Gongradulations on the acceptance!

Having watched the forums for the last few years it seems that American is not known for their generosity, especially to part timers, but that does not necessarily mean that you are entirely out of luck.

congrats! I think they give out money some time after acceptance, at least that how it seems to work based on the past forum posts.

I don't know how part time works, but I was accepted a couple weeks ago full time and received my acceptance letter with no scholarhsip info. Then last week I got an email award for $5k per year followed by a formal letter yesterday.
