Sent.

I'd actually prefer it if people didn't forward my PMs. I like having creative control if I decide something needs to be updated, and I know there was a typo in my last one, plus I wanted to add something.

Now lastsamurai missed out on the extra two sentences.

Thanks Lavitz! That was incredibly helpful :D

Hey Lavitz! Could I ask for one as well? Bit nervous about the interview.

I'd love to join the train, too! Only if it's no bother.

I just went complete Friday after applying late November. My first real status update of the new year! Praise Ithaca.

Any idea why the office is closed today? Just called to try to schedule the interview and got an automated voicemail

Also, there are probably a ton of people calling so maybe all the lines were busy?

Just scheduled my Skype interview as well. Am I the only one who felt nervous giving my skype address over the phone instead of imputing it myself? I'm going to spend the next several weeks stressed that they wrote it down wrong....

And I thought I was neurotic, hahaha. Now I'm going to be worrying about that as well.

Scheduled an interview today too. Hope it goes well. Oh, and checking in, I guess.

I should have called bright and early this morning. I couldn't get an interview until February.

If you aren't close to Ithaca I wouldn't worry about it. Now if you live in like, Binghampton or something? You should probably go do the in person.

(my new york geography is a little rusty hopefully binghampton is closeish to ithaca)

She means she was nervous because she scheduled by calling up and saying her skype address, which the adcomm may have written down wrong and therefore wouldn't be able to connect at the time of the interview. As opposed to typing it herself on an online form.

Not about doing skype vs. going in person.

And yes, it's close to Binghamton.

What is this interview everyone is talking about? I didn't see it on my application...

Applied ED so maybe it's different. At least I'm hoping it is.

A bunch of us who are above both 75ths were recently invited to interview by an email. According to the all-knowing Lavitz, it's a YP thing.

And thanks for the translation Lavitz :P I'm not really that worried but I have to stress over something

Cornell interviews?! Do they interview people for select reasons like YP or borderline candidates? Or do they interview strong candidates in general?

I am at Cornell's median GPA and have a 171 LSAT. Application status has been 'received' since early December but its still not complete!!! (personal statement, transcripts, LOR, resume; none of those boxes are checked yet  ). Any idea how long it will take before I hear back from them, and should I be expecting an interview?

Ah... RC fail.. I'm gonna blame it on the Bronchitis instead of lazy reading. I was somewhat concerned initially about doing skype so maybe that is where i got it from.

In the same boat as you. I have no clue.

I should schedule an interview with an admissions officer and get right to the nitty-gritty about yield protection, etc. Let them know how interested I am in Cornell (definitely the most practical of all my choices).

Cornell interviews a very small number of candidates. Criteria is unclear to me.

Cornell usually takes about a month to go complete, so you should not be worried about that yet.
They are very slow-moving.

Ty for this info. I applied last week and was going crazy that all of these components are still incomplete (every other school I've applied to went complete within 3 days so forgive my naivete). My sympathy to those who've been waiting anxiously for over a month.

Yea. They had one slot next week and then no more until February.
