Cornell,
You are horrible at verifying materials for completion. Other schools literally take a couple of hours and here you are taking your sweet time. It would have been nice hear back before Thanksgiving but at this point I just hope you're able to verify my materials before Christmas.
All the best,
Altoid

Lavitz, you've been great with Cornell advice but I might need to get your advice on cameras as well. Top pictures.

My camera's actually not that great--it's just a simple point-and-shoot. You should ask these guys for camera advice. Some of my classmates have DSLRs and take much more high-quality pictures than I do, but I would never post them here without permission.outlawscr10 wrote:Lavitz, you've been great with Cornell advice but I might need to get your advice on cameras as well. Totally thought those photos were taken with a DSLR. Credit to Ithaca, I suppose.Lavitz wrote:My camera's actually not that great--it's just a simple point-and-shoot. Cool story.applelover wrote:Complete since 10/10 and still no decision
But really, I can't help but notice that none of the people with really high numbers have gotten in yet. Very interesting.

Is it normal to have them take a long time to verify materials for completion? I submitted on the 18th and it still says "verifying materials for completion".
I do realize that thanksgiving holiday may have slowed their process down.

Applied 11/25.
167/3.6
Chances? Money?
Admission graphs give me a fairly decent shot at admission. Depends a bit on just how much lower application numbers are this cycle I suppose.

With applications down, I think you should be in. Did you apply RD or ED?rstahl wrote:Applied 11/25.

RD. Any suggestions for where to apply to for money negotiation purposes given the low applications?altoid99 wrote:With applications down, I think you should be in. Did you apply RD or ED?rstahl wrote:Applied 11/25.

Even though I've been admitted to other schools, Cornell, I give you my 1,500th as humble supplication for that "complete" status and, eventually, an acceptance.
