So, fellow 2/28 Complete4 comrades, guesses on when we hear back? It would appear we will all be non-interview decisions...

So, my money is on either Tuesday or Friday next week.

I believe there have been 2 Tuesday "waves." (Note, quotes because I don't think waves here are as concrete as other schools that truly use waves). And we say lots of action yesterday.

So, neither is anywhere near a solid reason for guessing, but they are reasons.

Submitted late December, went complete in February.

Wonder when they will render their decision.

When does cornell tend to get back to you regarding scholarship offers... I was admitted about 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything. Just curious if this means I will not be getting any $ to Cornell. Not expecting any, but it'd be nice to know haha.

You have to apply for it before you'll get a result, and they start releasing awards during March.

Edit: Lavitz actually included a link to more information/forms on their site in the first post of the topic. I think it's been said before, but since I haven't said it yet, your initial posts in both this topic and the admitted student topics for Cornell are pretty much peerless in their incredible quality, Lavitz.

I believe you gotta send in a financial aid info sheet that's on the cornell website. Second link on the page: http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/admiss ... /forms.cfm

Then you gotta do fafsa for loans and Needaccess if you think you're eligible for any need based grants. Then you gotta also send in tax returns of yourself and your parents (though I think Lavitz said it's not necessary for merit based $).

Someone please add anything else if I missed something.

Yeah, I said if you want merit but no need-based aid, you don't have to send in your parents' tax returns or the needaccess form. You'd still have to send in the FAFSA and your own tax returns to get federal loans though.

Didn't realize I didn't have to send in needaccess and my parents tax returns (did it before seeing info about it not being needed for merit) because I'm 99% sure I won't be eligible for any need based aid. Sigh...I hope the financial office won't use my parents info against me for merit $

Probably not. The only school I've ever suspected of doing that was NYU.

Hey friends - advice needed.

I'm a URM who was waitlisted last week with a 3.4/164. I just got my Feb. results back and I received a 168.

Any thought on if this will be enough to get me off the waitlist?

URM + above LSAT median? Depends on what type of URM and their yield but...

It's been a while since I've checked in on this thread. Any good resources somewhere in here or elsewhere regarding the interviews this year?

I wouldn't worry about it at all. It's very conversational, and most interviewed applicants appear to be getting acceptances. Just show some genuine interest in the school and think about some vague answers to questions like why x school in undergrad, tell me about X on your resume, etc. It's pretty casual though, and I strongly discourage serious practice and scripted preparation.

Yeah, the Cornell interview was very conversational. The director of admissions and I spent like 10 minutes throwing shade at my undergrad (across the way from CrLS)
