It looks like those of us who didn't get held may get a surprise in the mail this week.

Eep!
Given that one of the postmarks was 2/18, maybe CLS sent out a batch of admissions by mail last week before their hold emails, and those mailed letters are slowlyyy now making their way across the country???

I like this theory!!! (Even though I'm still expecting a WL at best with my LSAT.)

I'll start perfecting my British accent now, in that case...

Hmm... wish there was a deluge of "IN!" posts right about now, to prove my theory right...

Butler'd on week of 2/10. Complete on 1/15. 3.7x/178

This cycle sounds really strange. How common is it for Hamiltons to get passed down to the Butler folk after those kids eventually withdraw & go to Yale?

Back to square one, empty mailbox. Is anybody still out there?
Hoping for something this week...don't they want to cheer themselves up by giving bright, young future lawyers lots of money to go to their school after sending hold notifications to so many bright, young future lawyers for no discernible reason?

Reserve. How is this different from wait list? Or is it at all?

I'm guessing a Hammy is likely to go to some of the absurd WLs that have appeared here if they are rejected by the originally accepted students.
I myself am wondering if I can negotiate up from a Butler.

Reserve just now. What kind of waitlist movement can we expect? I'm going to send a LOCI. I have no business getting in but I would go in a second if given the opportunity. Haha

Got the reserve letter just now. I see months and months more of indecision in the future.

Just got reserved. LSAT<25% GPA>50% I was expecting a flat out ding so I feel blessed. :) The way they explained it sounds like a waitlist still. They did, however, say this was one of their most competitive years. I'm definitely planning on riding this out.

For all you reserved folks, sorry to hear the news :(. It would also be very helpful if you posted:

- approximate stats
- complete date
- interview yes/no

Sorry about the reserves guys. I wasn't held, I wasn't reserved (yet). I feel like if I was going to be accepted it would have happened already...so ding? Columbia is just crazy this cycle.

You still hanging in here with me Charlie?

First reserve. Was sure I would be rejected. Nice surprise.

Complete 1/13

<25% GPA, @25% LSAT

No interview.

Is a reserve the same thing as a waitlist or does your letter say you'll get a decision at the end of April like the "held" wave? Sorry to hear regardless. what a crazy cycle.
