ETA: How long did it take most people to have their application acknowledged by Columbia?

Feels good to have my application in and for it to be complete.
Just gotta plan a visit to NYC now and check out the campus.

Dont worry for CLS. I submitted my application Nov 1 after I got my October scores and was admitted in the first round of VCE's/NCE's in January. Just make sure your apps are in before Thanksgiving.Nonconsecutive wrote:This pretty much sums up my entire relationship with TLS atm.bbkk wrote:Wow you guys are fast! You mean that you went complete after 20 days, right? I haven't even gotten any indication that they received my app, let alone that it went complete.t14splitter wrote:TheMostDangerousLG wrote:APPLICATION IS IN! The wait begins..

Should I give them a call?

Ooo, went directly to the Columbia status check site and was able to see the status of my application. Weird that I didn't receive an email from them, but still excited!

Used to be called VCE (Vomit Colored Envelope) because of the distinctive color. Now called NCE (Normal Colored Envelope) because--well--they changed the color and we wanted to keep calling them something.

google Columbia Status Checker, enter your name, date of birth, and Lsac number, and you can check it yourself.

I submitted in mid-December as a splitter and was admitted in April. So based on this anecdotal evidence I think applying early might not matter as much as it used to.jbagelboy wrote:Dont worry for CLS. Anyone know what it takes to score the Hamilton? Any insight into the decision process? How many do they offer? Thanks!

Right. Thanks. Do you anticipate any adjustment to this with the new medians/decrease of high-lsat applicants?jbagelboy wrote:I took a stab at these questions on pg 1charlie.black wrote:Anyone know what it takes to score the Hamilton? Got the fee waiver.. Yay/boo, because I already submit. Anyone know if they reimburse you if you already paid for an app?

Makes it pretty clear that it's not for applicants who have already submitted an app

CLS '16 here. Good luck to everyone. I applied after December LSAT scores came back (so early January) and was accepted middle of February (CLS was my Valentine). Let me know if you have any questions.
Maybe let your mailman know ahead of time that you'll be systematically stalking them this spring.
