Initial acceptances/dings go out via snail mail. I got the same email with that survey today and got my decision letter last week. It sounds like you got accepted but you just haven't received the mail yet or it got lost. So a tentative congrats

It's by snail mail. That being said, a bunch of people have reported not receiving the initial package, and only receiving "follow-up" communications days later. You probably have an acceptance package floating around in the lost vortex of USPS

At this point I would gladly accept one of these emails congratulating me once again on my acceptance, despite not being accepted prior to that email

Hmm...got lost in the mail, eh. The plot thickens.
Then again, USPS did an exemplary job delivering my rejection from Michigan.

I received my blue envelope today!
It was postmarked 2/3 and I'm currently on the west coast. I submitted my app in mid november. PM me if you want any more details. Either way, the point is that there will be more letters this week!

Is that the first 2/3 or did I miss it?

Man, I wish a mid-late January complete would get an acceptance...
