Sorry to hear about all the helds :(.

Are these trickling out or was it a mass email?

My condolences to those that just got those holds. Seems unwarranted.

For those who have gotten held, what was the latest complete date among you? I saw a Jan 22, I think, but anything later than that?

Is snail mailing LOCI's the way to go?

Just to confirm (one last time), held is different from waitlist/reserve. See page 5 under "committee decisions":

I may be the only one here who's kind of happy about this. As a reverse splitter I was 100% expecting a reserve.

They have this form on their site. I assume they prefer people use it.

I don't think they'll be screwed, columbia's class size is like 200 people less than HLS no?
A wonder what a large group of impulse-withdrawals would do to HLS' yield.

Kind of sucks but I will hold out and hopefully get accepted.

Seems weird they're holding people above both 75ths... isn't Columbia supposed to be a numbers game?

Still waiting here, I think maybe Columbia forgot about my app :P

Complete around the same date. Seem to have survived the hold wave. Above 75ths
