Plus, pretty much only people who lived in NYC would have heard today. Do we have a lot of people on TLS right now who live and NYC and have had the opportunity to check their mail today?

We should give it until after the work day before we call troll (also, I am an optimistic person who refuses to accept that this might be a troll until there is absolutely no choice).

LOL at CLS delivering through the most incompetent of US mail carriers. So many packages have been lost with USPS.

CLS can afford Fedex.... :?

Exactly-that, along with the specificity of details about the CLS envelope, makes me certain that jojo is no troll.

I live near Cornell so this makes me a little less upset about receiving nothing today. Maybe tomorrow?

Driving home to check my mail and see nothing certainly was upsetting.

My hope is rekindled. Although I fully expect nothing to be in my mailbox this evening. The weather had to have delayed things.

too long
If it's USPS priority mail, it's two days:

https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/

Use zip 10025.

But it may just be first class. Depends on the weight as to what's most cost effective.

Paging JoJo.
Okay, this might be silly but the USPS website is confusing me: would "standard USPS," as jojo says, mean Priority Mail or First Class? I don't understand this thing called "mail."

wait. what is up with Alaska getting everything before the west coast and before Hawaii? I would have thought it was because everything was put on a plane, but it's before Hawaii still.

and why does it take MS an extra day? And mail can get to Stehekin, Washington, where there are no connecting roads and they didn't get phone service until 2007, faster than it can get to Medford, Oregon, an area with over 200,000 people?

not procrastinating I swear

First Class unless it came in a priority mail envelope.

I used to work for USPS so I am kind a mail nerd. HTH

Srsly - most important factoid. If it's a package, I'll get an e-mail alert from my building...and I haven't so far...

Not priority - you pay more for that. I think First Class would be what they would have used.
