Has anyone else checked their junk e-mail folder to make sure the Columbia interview invite wasn't in there to make sure that's not the reason why you haven't gotten an envelope yet?

Hahaha this has to be a sick joke, I just checked and here was the top email:

"Guaranteed Scholarships at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, CA"

I got that Thomas Jefferson email too. They have a nice 'scholarship matrix' that shows you a guaranteed scholarship based on GPA/LSAT. I wish Columbia had one of those.

Funny enough, a few years back I was interested in doing a post-bach in philosophy in preparation for graduate studies in analytical phil. and considered Columbia for it. I never did it, but they kept sending me post-bach info emails, which I relegated to the spam folder. So my span folder is actually filed with emails from "Columbia University."

I actually only designed it as spam recently, and that was because I sent my apps in.

That 1/30 postmark gave me some hope. But after three consecutive WL's from UVA, UChi, and Penn, I need some good news! :D
+1
my last 4 notices have been WL at uva, uchi, penn, and a faculty review from berkeley. Definitely liking the first half of this cycle more than the second.

(Stop)
Oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman
(Wait)
Wait Mister Postman
Please Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that law school of mine
There must be some word today
From Columbia so far away
Please Mister Postman, look and see
If there's a letter, a letter for me
I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently
For just a card, or just a letter
Sayin' they have a blue letter for me
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Oh yeah)
For me to hear from that law school mine
So many days you passed me by
See the tears standin' in my eyes
You didn't stop to make me feel better
By leavin' me a card or a letter
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(Oh yeah)
If there's a letter in your bag for me
(Please, Please Mister Postman)
Why's it takin' such a long time
(Why don't you check it and see one more time for me, you gotta)
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
Wait a minute
(Mister Postman)
Mister Postman, look and see
(C'mon deliver the letter, the sooner the better)
Mister Postman

So after reading a few posts in this thread a few pages back, I checked LSAC and realized I sent my two prof. LoRs and neglected to send along the LoR from my current boss. I realize this probably isn't a make or break thing, esp. since some people don't even want their current employers knowing about law school, but seeing as Columbia makes it a point to ask for a supervisor LoR if you are working full-time, I can't help but ask: is the consensus that I probably should send it along now if I have it on hand? Or would that just pointlessly hold up my application? thanks everyone :) ... now back to closely following these post-mark dates!

I didn't send any employer stuff at all. I don't think that will really effect you, honestly. Maybe save it for a waitlist if necessary.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
