I can officially confirm that I screwed myself over with my PS.

I submitted 10/31, UR 11/8. no word since. At medians.

Just got the phone call! Obviously I missed it, so it went to voicemail. Applied the day before Thanksgiving, 175/3.73. Congrats to all the other admits!

My call came the same day as the DLS and ASW working. I remember after it turned to DLS and ASW working, but before I received the call, I was reading a post by someone who had already received their call early in the day and they had stated that their last name was at the beginning of the alphabet. My last name starts with "G", so I figured it would be sometime soon that I received my call. Sure enough it was only about 30 minutes later that I got mine. It was at around 4PM so I figure I was towards the end of their calls for the day.

This does not in any way prove that they go alphabetically with their calls, but if your last name is somewhere towards the end or middle of the alphabet it could provide an explanation.

Unfortunately not. There are folks who have been UR since October and November still waiting, as well as folks who have gone UR and had a decision within a week or two.

bnbsdbss submitted on 12/12, 2nd UR on 12/28, dying, nyu is my top choice. got into berkeley today which was literally so awesome but still, ggfffffff want to knooooow

I got the status checker email today, and it says applications may take several weeks to go complete... so why is my application under review already?!

NYU moves quickly. Mine took a day to go UR as well.
