I think it might have been a better idea to email/call them rather than attach an addendum. Their system might automatically put you on hold for having an "outstanding" LSAT registration before they even look at your file and read your addendum. This happened to me at another school.

Got the call today and I'm in! Really surprised I heard back so soon seeing as I applied literally a week ago.

How long are RD applicants having to wait between the initial UR status and the UR2 date update, if it's come?

It doesn't seem like it's a standard amount of time, or that UR2 is even necessary to be accepted.

I don't recall seeing a UR2. But then again I checked like once/twice a week only. Very quickturn around by NYU though. I'm impressed.

Personally, I didn't have UR2.

What was your turnaround exactly, from submission to under review to decision?

I submitted this past weekend, received my status checker and went under review today. I wonder if the possibility exists that the turnaround could be before Christmas break (so next week, I guess).

The best part of the acceptance call is that they tell you that you can log into the Admitted Students site and you have to act like you haven't already done that.

What date? when did you submit?

I'm still waiting too, if they're going to ding me, I want them to just do it already. I submitted nearly 3 months ago.

I submitted 10/09, under review since 10/15, no change since then.

That's the turnaround I had. Applied last weekend, heard yesterday. So 9 days from when they received it. But my UR date was also that Monday, so it was 9 days UR -> accept (although I didn't get the status checker until several days later). I'd say it's possible to hear before Christmas if you just went complete, but don't count on it and don't assume anything bad if you don't here by then.

I've only been under review for a couple of weeks. I didn't really expect to hear anything significant until later this month / early next year, given the unpredictable nature of URM cycles. But, people on this thread and others saying they'd applied and been accepted since Thanksgiving has got my paranoia wheels spinning.

Got the call! And during my lunch break, so I could actually answer it (not that not being on lunch would have stopped me from sprinting out of the office to answer the call). BUT MY PHONE DIDN'T RING, so it went to voicemail! Booooo, phone. Oh well, still exciting. :)

You were deferred yesterday? Oh well, better deferred than rejected! You're still in the running! Rooting for you.

ohh was I ever. I'm going to wager that it may have been the most devastating moment ITT to date. I'll be fine in another day and ready to go. PS see you in the CLS thread??? That will be a whole other beast in itself..

Don't worry. To my knowledge no one in a previous DLS wave hasn't gotten in, but some of them haven't gotten the call for several days.

In the same boat as you.

Applied on 12/6. UR on 12/9. Status checker email 12/12.

Hoping for a quick turn around time as well. Best of luck to everyone!

+1. Complete and UR as of 11/5.

Though I imagine the turnaround time is largely a function of one's stats... And as I'm at the median LSAT and >75th GPA, I'm not sure I'm quite high enough to warrant such a quick response.

Dear NYU:

I went UR1 11/8. I'm right at your median for LSAT and GPA.

Why are you ignoring me? The panic is almost too much for me to handle.

Sincerely,
Erised

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
