Submitted 1/18 no URs besides that DLS 4/15 WLed today. I'm gonna stick with this one no matter how terrible the odds.

I know you all are just kidding around but NYU historically waitlists a comparatively small percentage of its applicants (when compared to other T14s) and uses its waitlist with relative frequency [if LSN is to be believed.] See the T14 Waitlist Thread.

After this NYU waitlist a few hours ago, I also have half a dozen WLs. Not a single ding this cycle. Previous cycle numbers indicate that WL percentages are pretty low at most T14s that are not named "UVA", but still - could WL numbers be up because of uncertainty this and last cycle? It's somewhat shocking that NYU didn't just straight-up ding me.

Very sorry to hear all the waitlists.. I know NYU will for sure dip into it though as others said, so keep up hope
