Took 2-3 days for me to go complete so you might want to consider contacting them in a week or two.

Did everyone write the scholarship essay? I'm probably not going to get in much less get a merit scholly so I was just going to skip it, but I wasn't sure if they use it show interest etc. etc.

I applied for the Root-Tilden-Kern scholarship and used my personal statement as the essay.

Still haven't applied, but I'm hoping to get it out by next week. I want to write 1 or 2 of the scholly essays. NYU on a big scholly would be tough to turn down because I love the area and I wouldn't have to move from where I'm living now.

Is anyone applying to the IILJ scholarship? If so and feeling generous please PM me, I have a (rather dumb) question...

It took awhile for me too. Don't worry. I think it was well over a week.

Wow NYU moves fast... I'm already under review at NYU and I just applied on 11/4! :)

Definitely makes me happy since other schools have not even sent any type of acknowledgement whatsoever.

I haven't had a status date change since 9/30, when my app went under review. I see other people on this thread have had multiple date changes. Does anyone think no date change indicates an automatic rejection? If that's what it means I wish they would just tell me so I can stop getting my hopes up :(

I don't think anyone's gotten a status date change (looked back a few pages and couldn't find what you were referencing). Just sit back and relax, I'm sure there's no reason to worry

I had one status date change since it went complete. I really don't know if its a good or a bad thing. Probably best to just wait for their decision and not read too much into a process you don't really know

How many scholarship applications is too many? I'm considering two right now because none of the others really fit my applications, but I imagine that the public service/government focused applicants have like 5 or 6 that pertain to them.

ty, but one guy above you applied nov 4 and already knows that he's UR on nov 7. They finally sent me an acknowledgement/status check after I emailed them this morning. Every other LS acknowledged my app the morning after, and sent a status check soon after if not in the same email. you think a week-long delay to receive an -acknowledgement- is normal?

A) please relax!
B) probably call them if you're going to be stressing about it anyway and politely ask what the status of your app is

I sent an email after it had been about a week with no acknowledgement. They responded within a few hours telling me that everything was alright.

Just had my third date change:

10/29/13
10/30/13
11/8/13

Has been "under review" since 10/30. Are there any indications as to what this means? I'm not sure what is the norm as far as status updates for NYU.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
