I know NYU is relatively random with their changes in UR but does this not seem super fast even by NYU standards?

I wonder if they have one of those basketball hoops over their trash can and as the app goes through the hoop it just randomly triggers UR dates before dinging you when it hits the can?

That's what I'm curious to find out. If you see the "What to expect when you're expecting thread" it is listed that the initial UR is technically a complete, then there is UR1 and UR2. Any one who has a decision shed some light on this?

You may only have the initial UR. I had, at most, the initial UR and then 1 more UR date before I was accepted. There is no min/max "number" of "URs" you need.
It just sounds like they haven't done a decision wave in a while and anyone who was UR when it happens could be in that wave. Mine took less than 2 weeks, because there were a bunch of decisions not long after I applied.
So don't fret about the dates, everyone, you will get in regardless of the number of URs.

Sorry if I'm asking a repeated question from past pages ... but has anyone received any word from some of the scholarships like root-tilden-kern or IILJ? And if not do we have any idea from past cycles when word on these might come out?

You all still have hope <3. Note the pretty solid 3.5-3.6 line, except with work experience (AKA separation from GPA). The reason these look so much like random scatterplots is just because no one is shown below a 3.0/166 and I'm too lazy to change it.
