Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
I would guess that, to some extent, Stanford already knows that they're the perfect fit for you. Because they're Stanford. So I think that you should look to incorporate something new and helpful to your app if you submit an LOCI, eg. promotion, award, etc.JSWright101 wrote:So would sending a LOCI before wait list be a really terrible idea? (probably right? I'm just getting extra neurotic right?)
What if it's a really good LOCI (it is I swear) and it points to exactly why Stanford, in particular, is a perfect fit and then expresses interest in a joint degree program available at Stanford? (or I should just calm down at wait for a possible wait list since decisions are coming fast)
Should I probably just go to sleep and stop reloading these pages?
I feel like LOCI is kind of a powerful tool that you only get to deploy once, so be cautious with how you use it. Might be better to save it for getting off the WL. Unless WL is not an option for you, in which case go for it, and best of luck.

Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Million dollar question: will the acceptance calls continue throughout the week?
No offense to the people recently admitted, but their apps seemed to be closer to my league...so I have now put a call from Stanford inside the realm of possibility. I'm going to start holding my breath and crossing my fingers starting right...now. Good luck everybody whose stuck it out up til now.
