Does anyone know how large the waitlist tends to be (not that we won't get in before )?

Mid November completion. Still no word, which I suppose is not necessarily a bad thing given all of the DLS's that have gone out lately. It's got me on edge though.

So It has been 10 days since last admit (I think) - are we thinking this means more calls soon?

Well, it's good that you haven't got DLS when others around your date have.

Sorry about the DLS's. Is this usually followed by a rejection email, or sometimes does it mean waitlist?

I think the consensus is that at this point they are rejections because waitlists will come out later in the cycle. But this isn't absolute, just what I've been reading

Similar situation here: above both 75ths, complete since October, and already in at HY. Don't know what to think.

It looks like they are going in relative order of completion for dings. It's starting to freak me out since it's creeping closer and closer to my date. O_O

I knew a guy from my undergrad who applied to Stanford with borderline stats 5-ish years ago. IIR he sent in a short letter after several months of waiting (but before a decision) that was basically a mini "why Stanford" and said he was really into the school and would definitely go if admitted. He was not accepted (I'm not sure if rejected or WLed) and ended up going to another T-6. I don't know what that proves, but it's been done.

Anybody have any predictions on when the next round of calls will go out?

Complete 11/18, surprised I'm still alive. Harvard dinged me first round...

Regarding the 170 people in the Facebook, are there current students in the group too? I know my admitted groups have a bunch of current students in there to answer questions, so maybe there are more spots than we think!

i would guesss that an LOCI is only appropriate after you've been WL. I've been wondering the same thing tho so if anyone else has any idea chime in

Dean Deal says it's legit to submit a LOCI if you've been waiting forever (see --LinkRemoved--). Use your discretion, but I'd say that Sept/Oct appliers are fair game. I went UR 9/20 and sent my LOCI a few weeks ago.

Still alive (though barely, I'm guessing) with a 10/29 complete date. DLS can come through at any time of day, yeah?
