Wonder if there's any rhyme or reason to rejections going out. Early applicants maybe?

All the dings had their status changed to DLS?
What's DLS stand for btw?
So does that mean UR is still a good sign here?

Hard to say just based on the tiny sample ITT, but Specs and JD were both early submitters, so maybe.ejan1621 wrote:Wonder if there's any rhyme or reason to rejections going out. Early applicants maybe?

Yeah, I hear you. I'm just in decision withdrawal and doing some random speculation to pass the time.drawstring wrote:Moonlight wrote:All the dings had their status changed to DLS?

Yes, I would say that its a good sign if your status still reads UR.
And thanks everyone! Sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me Specs!

Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
News of the day for me: Not rejected from Stanford.
Thank God, I can keep my pipe dreams alive for a bit longer...the sweet gentle opiate of being under review with no calls on my phone and my status checker free from hints of rejection. I am sorry to hear of anyone unceremoniously denied (congrats on Harvard), maybe it has braced your nerves and set you further on your inevitable path to legal greatness "But I, being poor, have only my dreams; / I have spread my dreams under your feet; / Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."

My understanding from the graph on page 1 is that acceptances should still come in the future, right?koalacity wrote:Not yet. Last year, the first dings reported on LSN were 2/14, and first on TLS were 2/20.bincognito wrote:Have dings gone out?

That was the impression I got from the back and forth several pages back. Checked the graph on the front page which clears everything up.

Okay seriously, the admissions deadline was LAST WEEK - do you really expect them to have gone through late applicants' files just because they started sending out rejections?Seoulless wrote:That was the impression I got from the back and forth several pages back. Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
Not entirely sure if this is a new development, although I don't remember it being the case for earlier status checks...
The "If" that begins the sentence "If you have any questions, please contact the SLS Office of Admissions at admissions@law.stanford.edu" is now erroneously displayed at the top center (between the "Bio/Address/Demographics" box and the "Status" box) of my Applicant Status Report. Anyone else noticed this? I checked my status using two different browsers this morning, and the page was displayed the same way with each of them, so I think the glitch is on SLS's end.
Otherwise, there's been no change; I'm still under review.
