Sorry that you're not feeling well Koala, but thanks for the info!

I am less terrified about February arriving, now that I know *coughwildspeculationcough* that rejections don't go out until the later half of the month.

As soon as calls went out at like 4-5PM west coast time in mid November, I stopped making any assumptions about what SLS was going to do based on what they had done in the past.

...won't be a problem if you make that prediction every day! Unless, of course, jinxes have the power to hold the Stanford admissions office forever in stasis.

when you have OCD they do!

no tbh I just find it a teeny bit annoying. I'll have to find my own shtick as the Stanford-thread-resident-Mort

I don't know what you're on about, I just want my rejection already so that this endless wait is over with!

Is there any way to send a fourth letter of rec tailored to Stanford after the app is marked complete? Is that even worth it?

I haven't read back that far, but I was just wondering how long people have been "under review" for?

People, please convince me to apply here, before the deadline makes the decision for me. I keep telling myself it isn't worth it w/ my 3.75.

Applied w/ a 3.6. Didn't want to have to wonder for the rest of my life.

So who else here didn't submit a LOR tailored to Furd?

Apparently they like those, but I couldn't find a professor of mine that was connected to the school in any way so I didn't think it was appropriate.

The better question is who did. I wouldn't worry about it.
