I love how more than 1/2 of the applicants are above SLS' 75th percentile LSAT... GPA FTW

I thought so too, so I threw some rough averages into myLSN and it returned some BS like 29%.

Don't remind me, I am sitting in that red block.

ETA: I am impressed that there aren't any red or even orange LSATs. Makes me nervous to be honest.

If SLS wanted high LSATs their 75th would be higher. They don't seem to put too much emphasis on it IMO

edit: Here's something to scare yourself with: if so many of us are above the 75th%, that means we're all kind of competing for the same 25% of spots. Of course that's probably erroneous logic

Yale is some odd little dream most ppl don't take too seriously. So, Harvard or Stanford? And why please.

But doesn't TLS have disproportionately high LSAT scores compared to GPA?

As I said, probably erroneous logic lol. For me SLS>HLS barring considerably more $$ from H. Why? Smaller class size, I want to work in California, California weather, California girls. Though dropping the H bomb would be awesome.

I'll make you a deal. When you get into both I will take your Harvard acceptance and you can go to Stanford. What do you get in return...well nothing but this is why this is a great deal.

lol I'll take it. For some reassurance it probably was a good idea for you to forgo that Iowa ride considering the continual drop in applicants, especially the higher LSATs. Sure, you might not get SLS or HLS but you will definitely have good options.

I've dreamed of Harvard for a while now, but I think YLS and SLS don't get my attention as much because deep down I know it's not going to happen. Stanford could pull through for me, but it's just way too variable to put much hope into. But man would I love to spend 3 years in Palo Alto.

Everyone has always wanted to go to Harvard... it's during the researching law schools process that YLS and SLS emerge from the woodwork.

This. Everyone I know(that I haven't told otherwise) is under the impression that HLS is the best law school.

I guess I am the weird kid that always wanted Yale. That being said I think I have as close to a flawless applicaiton as possible (in terms of LoR, essays and Softs that I can control) but my GPA will keep me out of Yale and SLS so HLS is probably my only choice.

How I pity you... stuck going to Harvard.

That is the only negative about choosing SLS over HLS - lay prestige/picking up chicks/impressing randos

How lay-prestigious is it to tell people that you denied HLS? lol

California girls aren't that great bro.

The hottest girls are southern girls (i.e., those that attend SEC schools)

It doesn't usually come up... I can't be like, "Yo, I go to SLS, but I tots denied HLS." I can only play the denied HLS card if they, usually in a joking manner, are like, "what, you couldn't get into HLS?"/"well pearson hardman darby wouldn't even hire you." And even then it feel pitiful.
