I keep missing all my post milestones :(

I'm determined to keep shit-posting until I can get my count up to 300 to post for luck. (I can't believe I missed post #180; I wanted to post that one here for luck  )

Tomorrow, guys. The calls are coming tomorrow. I know it in my gut.

Every time there's movement in this thread-even though it's now past the time of day when Dean Deal's been making her calls this cycle-my heart skips a beat.

+1. I'm posting this as revenge for what everyone in this thread put my poor heart through yesterday :P

Rescuing this thread before it falls off the first page.

Kershka, what say you? Is today the day?

Fingers crossed for good news soon!

I was just looking through LSN from last year, and it looks like there were some dings throughout February but that waitlists didn't come out until mid-April. Does that seem right to everyone? Could be a very long wait for an answer...

Unrelated, but for the longest time I read your username as "lsatsamurai" and not "lastsamurai." I swear I'm not normally dyslexic.

And I think you're right about the waitlists not historically coming out until April...ack.

So, today? It's only 42 in Palo Alto right now, so chances are Dean Deal and staff are all inside, fingers on the phones, waiting to make calls. Right. RIGHT?!

PS. It will be 70 later

Today could definitely be the day for some more acceptances. If I'm not in the next round of calls, I'm just assuming Wait List.

Because my gut was so accurate last time :P

Hmm...right now I have a 50% accuracy rate with predictions and since my general predictions last week wound up being true, I shall be general again.

Calls will come either today or tomorrow*

source: why the hell not? It could happen. Also, because wtrc's weather comment seems the height of logical reasoning.

SLS traditionally holds a lot of applications until late in the cycle. It's one of the only schools where it's realistic for applicants to apply in Sept-Nov, hear nothing, and suddenly get accepted in March/April. A friend of mine with strong numbers (he got into HLS and YLS in the first rounds of calls) didn't get in until April. It's not worth making something out of nothing.
