Stressed out to the max. Dean Deal, you've had our applications for at least 7 weeks at this point. You know what you're going to do with the vast majority of us, if not everyone, barring some kind of cataclysmic event. Why continue the charade?
DECISIONS, PLEASE.

Seriously, I feel like Stanford is the slowest responder this cycle Maybe they're short staffed? I don't know but it's driving me mad.teampeeta wrote:Stressed out to the max. So are people thinking it's a good thing not to have heard anything by now? It doesn't seem like a lot of rejections have been sent either though...

Personally I don't see any good in not getting any word of a decision a week before ASW...Highway61 wrote:So are people thinking it's a good thing not to have heard anything by now? It doesn't seem like a lot of rejections have been sent either though...

LSN reporting rejections, but only one which specifically says decision was today.

Yup. But I will gladly abandon my family last minute to hop on the flight to ncali if a miracle occurs.lawschoolgal90 wrote:Personally I don't see any good in not getting any word of a decision a week before ASW...Highway61 wrote:So are people thinking it's a good thing not to have heard anything by now? I definitely don't think it's a good sign, but I don't think we have seen many January app decisions at all, right?

Still...it does not seem Stanford has dished out enough acceptances to fill their class. So there is a slight glimmer of hope...SLIGHT

Does a "decision letter sent" note without a phone call definitely mean a rejection/wait list? Don't want to believe this but it seems to be the case reading this thread. Thanks guys!

I think alot of people are looking at no word as more frustrating than as a good thing-- I can understand that for someone who's reppin a 3.89/175.Highway61 wrote:So are people thinking it's a good thing not to have heard anything by now? For myself, with a subpar GPA, I'm feeling pretty happy to have submitted in Nov and not been rejected yet. Given Stanford's GPA median I thought they were the longest shot for me this cycle, so I'd think getting WL was an achievement. Guess it varies by perspective, but I would say that interpreting no word as a good thing is a legitimate way to look at it.

Right there with you in terms of stats - I feel pretty lucky to still be in the running. That said, I'll admit that I'm definitely looking forward to some closure at this point . Win or lose, virtually anyone who's competitive for admission at SLS will likely have some pretty exciting options on the table when all is said and done. Don't get me wrong, I'd be beyond pumped to be admitted and will certainly ride out that wait-list if need be - but a big part of me just wants to know my destination, start figuring out logistics with my SO, etc.rseaney wrote:I think alot of people are looking at no word as more frustrating than as a good thing-- I can understand that for someone who's reppin a 3.89/175.Highway61 wrote:So are people thinking it's a good thing not to have heard anything by now? Feb LSAT re-taker here. Looking more and more like I'll be sitting through this all again next year. Was hoping they would all pounce on my score jump, but I don't think they're looking to re-read applications until they've given everyone their first read. Meanwhile spots are drying up...

Stanford, this one goes out to you.

Here's hoping for some action this evening (and not the DLS kind).

DLS this afternoon.
Not surprised at all, since Stanford was my hail mary. Just wish it had been a faster decision!
