The username meant that Harvard was hopeful to get this applicant as a matriculant, not the other way around.

Not for an acceptance. In previous years (we don't know yet whether or not this will be the case this cycle, as they have not rejected or waitlisted anyone yet), if your status checker changed to "decision letter sent," but you hadn't received a call from Dean Deal, it meant either a ding or a waitlist.

Also, HH, you are totally my favorite poster for quickly updating both TLS and LSN! Congrats again! :D :D

hahaha I wish! I'm extremely lucky to be getting into the schools I am. Never thought I'd see the day I'd have the decision between Stanford and Harvard.

IN!!! They weren't able to reach me by phone so I got an e-mail. I had to check the sending address to make sure it wasn't some kind of a prank. :shock:
