I don't know why UVA would send something that rude. They can at least show us a little respect for wanting to go to their school and waiting so long

as a native Virginian, I will say that in my experience people from UVA just have this tendency to be terrible.

I'm actually more optimistic now then I have been for weeks. At the very least, we've been set aside for some reason. Maybe for a few straight accept spots, maybe for high waitlist placement, maybe for tribute status in Stanford's annual "Bloodletting Sacrifice to Long Forgotten Gods of our Ancestors". either way we have been set aside for something!

Hello all. Never posted but have been lurking for awhile. Felt like I should offer my info into the mix.

DLS today, dinged. Completed 2/14. LSAT 174 GPA 3.6X
Highly unique softs that could be considered negatively or positively (So I was not surprised to be held till the end… Wait-listed at most of the T-14 I applied to: H, C, C, Virg., Penn., and Duke. Going to Michigan!).

Yeah I'm worried about that. I'm still "alive"--maybe until tomorrow...a last-minute acceptance would sure be nice.

I hope this isn't true :/ A lot of people were dinged today though...if they had only been giving out WLs then I would be extra worried. But I'm still worried.

Went DLS last Thursday and got my rejection letter in the mail yesterday. My mommy called me to tell me how perfect I am so it's okay.

Good luck to all of the deserving people who are trying to get off that wait list!!

I don't think so. I find it hard to believe they would hold so many applications for so long, then fill the wait-list the day before the final day. I think everyone left at this point were held beacuse they are on the bubble between the WL and a ding.

...But I had kinda secretly been hoping for a crazy anomalous last minute straight admit, and I will continue to hope for all of you!

I also wonder if at least some of the applications being held at this point have unique attributes like mine? I'd be curious to hear if those still waiting are non-traditional students? Polio survivors? Distinguished authors with terrible grades? Disgraced former politicians? etc. etc.

haha well I certainly wouldn't put myself in that category, but I have to think my interesting softs and coming from an under represented state have something to do with why I wasn't rejected long ago ( just under median lsat, and just over 25% gpa). so I'm hoping all of the high numbers admits enroll, and they'll take some good experience to round out the class!

Wow, there was a lot of movement today. Sorry/congrats to everyone who went DLS. Supposedly all decisions are supposed to be out by tomorrow so hopefully the rest of you will hear something too.

Also, lol that people have gotten so tired of the SLS wait that they're starting to complain about UVA itt instead
