Yeah! I've been vaguely planning to apply to S the whole time while applying to HY was predicated on scoring higher.Moonlight wrote:I think their site says they consider the best LSAT score? Plus if you think about it, it's not outside the bracket. It's I think usually your actual score and plus 3 and minus 3 are considered "normal" performance fluctuations.Otunga wrote:With no amazing softs, should I expect a 168 to 165 retake decrease to worsen my chances from 1/4 (according to myLSN) to something lower? I'm not sure whether it's worth the big app fee, but out of HYS, it's clearly the most plausible place for me to get in.
I'm guessing you just got the score for December test?

Re: Stanford c/o 2017 (2013-2014 applicants)
The reason it does this-- at least, according to last year's thread-- is because the Google results actually brings you to the graduate school status checker rather than the law school one. They look identical so it is confusing a lot of applicants. The best way is to use the link in your email.Moonlight wrote: I'm an October 1st submit. Mine just says under review still.
The SLS Status Checker is interesting. If you google Stanford Law Status Checker and click that link then your log-in won't work. But if you go through their website and click prospective students > jd applications > status checker then it works. Not sure why. I assume its a coding issue or something.
Think of it this way guys, at least we're all still in the game. Does anyone know if they've started rejecting? Because that would say a lot for all of us still under review.
And I'm still sitting on Mid-October with no news. Please, Dean Deal, you have my number-- call me!

Well. There goes any hope of being productive this Monday.CitrusFruit wrote:It seems like the monday after new year's has been a day for calls the past few years.
And, to fully demonstrate my obsessiveness, do we know what time of day S typically calls?

Long time lurker and very rare poster, but I just got the call from Dean Deal! When I saw the Palo Alto area code I started shaking, but I am so happy! (I'm the newest blip on LSN if you want to check my stats.)
Good luck to everyone else ITT!!!
