The WL response form everyone is talking about is in an entirely different email. When did you get waitlisted? If it was recently, you probably won't get a email asking you to fill out a WL response form until after your deadline for additional materials has passed.

It seems like the people receiving those emails were waitlisted early in the season.

Does anyone know what kind of timeline we can expect? Even something general would do.

I'm assuming that they start pulling from the waitlist in June and the majority of any decisions happens then. After that, the waitlist acceptances will just trickle through until several weeks before school begins in October?

(Sorry but I never have time to cull this information from last year's thread - the consequences of working nearly full-time and being a full-time student.)

I say that is a little too early. If in June, then very late June. I suspect they'll implement for interviews for wait-listed applicants first, which will consume a pretty big chunk of time.

Really? Last year several folks were pulled from the WL in May. The deadline for completing the form they sent out yesterday is May 15, so I imagine they might be making some decisions late next & the following weeks.

Yea - the dates seem to vary, though. Mine was 4/15 and I just didn't do it, which I'm now regretting very much.

There was a WL essay?! Something other than a LOCI? Totally dropped the ball on that one, too....not that I have any chance of getting into uchicago anyhow.
