What 2 weeks? My email was 6/12.

Oh man, these are nearly exactly my numbers, though his GPA is slightly higher than mine.

Should I be excited the splitter train is going along, or should I be thinking that they just filled the spot earmarked for those numbers with him instead of me? My initial thought is that it makes them less likely to take me now, but more likely to take me if/when a couple spots open up later. If that means they are in fact going to reserve me for the time being, it's going to be a nerve-wracking two months keeping up with the WL movement at HYS, knowing I'm close enough that literally every single CLS depositor who gets in could be the one that pushes me over that sweet, sweet edge.

I think everyone who has been taken so far has been a 174 or higher, with the exception of an Ivy 3.75/171 reported on LSN. But a CLS-deposited HYS waitlister is more likely to be above the GPA median than the LSAT median, so perhaps a couple reverse-splitter spots will open in the coming months.

Hey guys, sorry for not chiming in before, but I thought I should dispel the myth that all of the reserve-accepts have been splitters with high LSATS. My LSAT is below the 25th percentile and my GPA is between 50-75 percentile. My WE is unusual, so perhaps that's what did it.

Just confirmed a phone interview for this week. I know some schools (like Chicago) will call to gauge interest and then usually admit enthusiastic students a couple days later, but it seems like Columbia interviews you and then... Limbo? Is there a timeframe in which applicants selected to interview normally hear back?

I'm a high LSAT / very low GPA splitter, for what it's worth.

Welcome to Limbo! I was getting lonely.

Thus far this cycle, hearing back after your interview has taken anywhere from two days to two weeks.

My slow descent into madness waiting for CLS to get back to me, Day 4: The Day Every Email Made My Heart Jump And Subsequently Pissed Me Off When It Wasn't Columbia

Dammit Creighton, not today! And for the love of God, stop emailing me.

Listen up, Hulu, Youtube, Twitter, and Wells Fargo: I have no idea why the hell you email me, but until further notice, could you not? I'm not about to be taken for a momentary emotional roller coaster so you can tell me what garbage is "trending" this week.

Yeup, I get emails from all of the above, plus nordstroms, bloomingdales, neiman marcus, netflix, ect.

I keep them all in a separate email from the one I used for LS admissions. This way I knew, when something showed up in THAT inbox, it had at least somewhat relevant content to my life.

Just got a call from "BLOCKED".

My forehead began to sweat, my hands trembled.

"Hi, is this JCE?"
"Yes, may I ask who's speaking?"
"This is Janice, your J Crew order has arrived."

So does this mean they are sending both email and regular mail rejection letters? This makes me nervous... I haven't received a second reserve email or rejection email... but I guess that means something could be waiting in the mailbox for me when I get home from work....

I think the person above meant email. My email attachment says "by email only" just as the reserve attachment did.
Isn't this a case of rejection by email?

I'm sorry for the confusion. I got the second reserve invite via email. It seems they are extending second reserve invites via email only (and that's why I assumed any rejections would be through email also) but rejections via mail. I don't know why they just can't email everyone.

Has anyone on the east coast still not heard anything? I'm in the mid-atlantic and haven't received a second reserve email or the expected snail mail ding.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
