Does "10 seconds before the first class at Columbia" count as an answer?

It might be after that. Harvard starts first week of Sept so they might call us well into our first week at CLS.

Then WHAT!?

Has anyone else applied really late in the game (Jan/Feb), been waitlisted, had their post-waitlist KB/JR1, and still haven't heard back?

I'm one of them, and I hope there are more!

let's keep our hopes up guys!

There is one URM who's reported a js1b but that person has not confirmed a js2. The issue is that no other URMs have reported js1bs and the person decides to delete his/her username from the spreadsheet when she/he reported the call. So it could be a troll. Who knows.
Thanks! I'm hoping the next movement is positive. In past cycles, URMs haven't heard back until much later in the cycle so I guess we'll see

Most of us are in the somewhat same boat as you are in.

I applied in October - Held - Waitlist - KB1 - waiting....

The only people that are different are the JB1b's that happened last week that led to being accepted. Everyone else is just waiting.

(Note: Some had interviews before being waitlisted, others after. Some haven't gotten interviewed yet)

On a similar note...

Looks like, due to the fact that people were 'dinged' yesterday and today, this week KB and JS are sending out a wave of rejections.

It's altogether a different feeling.
One week, as we eagerly sit by the phone, waiting, just waiting, for that (hopefully) inevitable vibration, seeing the screen light up on our cell phones and getting accepted shortly after.
Next week, a wrenching feeling deep in our stomach every time we refresh our e-mail browser, hoping, just hoping, that today the only thing we receive are Express coupons and Expedia deals for beautiful summer vacations.

Haven't seen any dings today, were there any? Anyway, looks like they are 'trimming fat' as all dings were w/o post-WL JS1. They've probably figured they have more than enough JS1ed folks in stock.

My mistake! Porch above said he was dinged at 12:04 and I assumed it was PM, not AM.

So yesterday was the only day. Ignore my last then.

And yeah, you're probably right about your last comment.

Guys I feel like there's gonna be some movement tomorrow, probably in the am.

I base this on the fact that I just ate a one pound cheeseburger.
