This week has been crazy in the Boston/Cambridge area (cop just got killed on MIT's campus). Be safe out there; God speed, comrades.

Harvard is closed today and I am wondering if ASW is still on with the current events unfolding in Boston/Cambridge...

Well...anyone up for an airport meet up? I'm already in the air and on my way.

I don't understand why people flew into Boston...there's no cabs.

As of right now, I am deciding to stay in Canada. I have an exam in a few hours, but will try to keep all those stranded in the airport company online. This is horrifying

Because just chilling at Logan for a while is fine. Is anyone watching CNN? I mean this isn't going to last days or anything...

Cuz I left last night... Before I knew there were no cabs. I'm drinking at Jerry's in the JetBlue part of the airport!

The 19 yr brother is still at large. He seems to be in Watertown about 10 miles west of Harvard. Massive manhunt. Stay safe.

Any news from admissions? This thing still happening? Flew in yesterday as well but left immediately to NYC... Don't know if there'll be a way to get back now. This is nuts. Stay safe everyone

Dear admitted students planning to visit this weekend,

We are closely monitoring the unfolding situation in the Boston and Cambridge area. Harvard University is currently closed. We will send updated information about the status of the Admitted Students’ Weekend as soon as it is available, and a final decision will be made no later than noon today. Please also watch the HLS homepage for more information.

I don't envy their position. On the one hand...these things (city lockdown) don't usually last that long and they seem on this guy. On the same hand people already have tickets.

On the other hand... if it lasts much longer you don't really see how they have much of a choice.

Maybe an abridged/shorter version starting later, giving things an opportunity to simmer down...

Just landed here. I'm at Lucky's doing some day drinking until we're unstranded if anyone wants to join. Near gates A1-6.
I have on a red bama cardigan.

Were you able to get a cab?

Yup, the cab ban was lifted and all the tunnels are open! It's also super empty everywhere :)

Oh, wow... I'm glad all of you already in Boston are okay. Crazy times. Hopefully this will get resolved soon and I'll be able to join y'all up north tomorrow!

Cabs aren't an option due to the availability of dollar bills in my wallet after I close this tab out.
In all seriousness, my family and friends will probably smother me if I left now. I'm here until the bro is caught.
